Roadway Structural Inspectors

Luster National, Inc. is looking for qualified Roadway Structural Inspectors who are willing to work for at least 90 days up to a potential 2-year assignment in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, and Louisiana areas affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. FEMA or US Army Corps of Engineers experience is good but not required.
Job Description:
Roadway structural inspectors should have a minimum of 5 years experience working on construction projects as an inspector, equipment operator, construction field engineer and/or construction superintendent. The preferred candidate's experience in construction should be primarily related to the installation of roads, highways, roadway overpasses, and bridges. Extensive knowledge and understanding of roadway foundation construction, concrete paving and finishing, structural forming and shoring, and general earthwork operations are essential to the performance of the roadway structural inspector's work. The roadway structural inspectors must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. A working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet computer programs is preferable.
Years of experience: Minimum of 5 years
