Maynard H. Jackson, Jr. International Terminal (MHJIT) at HJAIA

Atlanta, Georgia

MHJIT_Panorama-First-ArrivalsLUSTER performed duties as a sub-consultant to the Program Joint Venture under Holder, Moody, Manhattan and Hunt (HMMH) for work at the Maynard H. Jackson, Jr. International Terminal (MHJIT) at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA). LUSTER was selected by the City of Atlanta to provide construction management services for the Fifth Runway (R/W 10-28) and other projects associated with the Hartsfield-Jackson Development Program’s $5.4 Billion, 15-year capital expansion and renovation of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  Our duties as a construction manager/inspector for these various projects extended to the International Terminal & Concourse.

The Maynard H. Jackson, Jr. International Terminal will add an International Terminal & Concourse Building (Concourse F) to the airport complex. This project is comprised of approximately $1M sq. ft. of new construction space.  This development includes two (2) new parking deck structures, 12 new gates; a new apron connected to existing taxiways and new on-grade and elevated access roads to include all associated utility work.  Also, an underground passenger and utility connector will link the new terminal to the existing Concourse E (international concourse) incorporating an extension of the existing underground passenger train system.
