Dr. Laura Luster Appointed to Serve on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC)



SAN FRANCISCO, California -

Dr. Laura Luster has been appointed by Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Director Christine Todd Whitman to serve on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC) for a three year term, effective immediately and ending December 31, 2004.

NEJAC is a federal advisory committee that provides independent advice to the EPA Administrator on matters of environmental justice to ensure the fair treatment of all peoples, including minority, low-income, and indigenous populations and federally recognized tribes, and often overlooked populations such as agricultural workers.

Dr. Luster works for Luster National, Inc. (Luster), in charge of its Training and Community Development Division. Luster is a full service program and construction management firm with offices across the United States.
