OVERVIEW

Luster is a sub-consultant to DynCorp on an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The blanket contract provides construction services to any Federal Agency through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Northeast Region, providing an opportunity to bid, win, and execute construction services for any requesting Federal Agency.

This DLA contract provides services for construction project requests in the Northeast Region (Maine to Virginia). Construction projects/services range from new construction of commercial buildings, mechanical and electrical systems, pipelines, and roadway repairs including a full spectrum of maintenance services; virtually any maintenance, repair, or construction request can be processed through this DLA contract in support of Federal agencies located in the Northeast. Delivery method for the construction services may include design/build, or comprehensive build to design and specifications.

To date, Luster has provided construction services for the following:

  • Wings of West Point Squadron, Hangar Renovation, Stewart International Airport, New Windsor, NY

  • Racketball Court/Gym, Design/Build, Renovation, Andrews AFB, MD

  • Navy Special Warfare Group, Navy Maintenance Facility, Special Boat Squadron II - Naval Amphibious Base, Norfolk, VA

  • Demo High Temp/Pressure Underground Steam Lines, Heat Plant, Bolling AFB, Washington D.C.

  • Truck Infill Ramp, Design/Build, Building 1900, Andrews AFB, MD

  • Replace Underground Steam Lines, 4 services, Bldg. 1522, Andrews AFB, MD

The DLA traditionally provides worldwide logistics in support of missions for the Military Departments and the Unified Combatant Commands under conditions of peace and war. It also provides logistics support to other Department of Defense components and certain Federal agencies, foreign governments, international organizations, and others as authorized. The DLA has established this construction service support contract in its dedication to assisting its customers maintain readiness at reduced costs, and sustain current and future deployed operations.

Luster provides design and construction services in support and execution of this contract. Project Scope of Work reviews, site visits and ultimate bidding opportunities are ongoing.
