OVERVIEW

Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is the world’s busiest airport, serving more than 88 million passengers annually with nonstop service to 156 U.S. destinations and more than 80 international destinations in 50 countries.
Luster is team member on a 15-year, $6.2-plus billion expansion program, called the Hartsfield-Jackson Development Program - Focus On The Future. In a joint venture operating under the name Hartsfield-Jackson Construction Management (HJCM), Luster is the Construction Manager and Resident Engineer for a number of projects that are part of this Capital Improvement Program for land and airside facilities.
Since 2000, Luster has supported the completion of a number of major projects at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. These have included:
- Fifth Parallel Runway construction
- I-285 Bridge
- Taxiway V
- Fire Stations 24 and 33
- Runway 8R 26L replacement, and
- CONRAC, the consolidated rental car facility+
HJCM is also guiding the construction of the Maynard H. Jackson International Terminal (MHJIT) as well as airside, landside and maintenance projects. All projects are being completed while the Airport is in full operation under FAA laws and regulations.
Luster is helping the City of Atlanta expand and maintain facilities at Hartsfield-Jackson as one of its valued business partners. Our efforts at HJIA are focused on meeting the City’s commitment to keeping the Airport as the nation’s gateway to the world.
